WASTE (2021–2022)

Waste was developed during a residency at a waste-to-energy plant. The project explores a site defined by processes of transformation, elimination, and material excess.

The photographs focus on the plant's industrial architecture and operational systems, where combustion, sorting, and circulation generate a continuous movement of matter.

Within this dense environment, moments of light, structure, and atmosphere emerge from machinery, smoke, and suspended particles. The resulting images shift attention from industrial function to materiality, perception, and transformation.
