In Secret (2008–2018)
In Secret brings together photographs taken in European museums, including the Neues Palais at Sanssouci in Potsdam, the Neues Museum in Berlin, the Accademia in Venice, and the Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister in Dresden.
Access to these spaces was granted outside regular opening hours or during phases of renovation and closure. The work focuses not on the institutions themselves, but on the conditions of their interior spaces when emptied of public presence.
Within these deserted environments, the images observe the interplay of light, shadow, and architectural surface. Moments of stillness and quiet tension emerge, in which the museum space shifts from display context to a field of perception structured by absence and restraint.
